起亚宣布在北美销售Borrego SUV
起亚汽车美国公司宣布向美国销售其全新的七座中级尺寸SUV Borrego。这款车在今年初的底特律车展上发布的Borrego力图在大容量和低油耗两方面取得平衡。起亚这次不仅公布了新车的细节而且还宣布了价格。Borrego使用普通无铅燃油，V8两轮驱动车型具备城市/高速路15/22英里/加仑（百公里油耗约合15.68/10.69升）；而四驱版本油耗为15/20英里/加仑（百公里油耗约合15.68/11.76升）。这款新的中级尺寸SUV还搭载了起亚迄今为止功率最强的引擎，其中标准版搭载一台 3.8升V6引擎，最大功率276马力/206千瓦，同时顶级款搭载一台DOHC 4.6升V8引擎，最大功率337马力/251千瓦。当搭载V8引擎时，Borrego的拖曳能力达到3409公斤。
Kia announces North American lanuch for Borrego SUV
Kia Motors America has announced the sales launch of their all-new seven-passenger midsize SUV, dubbed the Borrego. Revealed at the Detroit Motor Show earlier this year, the new Borrego offers a compromise position between large capacity and fuel economy. The release brings new details of the SUV as well as pricing information.
The Borrego runs on regular unleaded and achieves class-leading fuel economy of 15/22mpg city/highway for its V8 with two-wheel drive, and a respectable 15/20mpg city/highway for the four-wheel drive. The new midsize also houses Kia’s most powerful engines to date, coming standard with a 3.8L V6 that generates 276hp (206kW) as well as offering an optional DOHC 4.6-liter V8 engine rated at 337hp (251kW). When mated to the V8, the Borrego is capable of towing up to 7,500 pounds (3409kg).
